Penghukuman dan keselamatan dalam Kitab Obaja sebagai Pengajaran Allah di tengah Problematik Edom-Israel
Abstract
The research methodology used in this article uses a qualitative approach to the text by paying attention to the context of social periods that result in the analysis of the theological message from the book of Obadiah. There is a reconstruction of the theme of the texts from the material of the book of Obadiah 1:1-14 and 16-21 which is intertwined in verse 15. The first section writes about Yahweh's judgment of Edom. While the second part writes about the salvation of Israel and Zion. In addition, the texts 1-14 and 15b as the beginning of prophetic news against the background of the history of provisional condemnation verses 15a and 16-21 concerning eschatology, Differences in these themes are based on the historical period of Israel's salvation. The results of this study showed the existence of different social periods as the background of the text so as to give a different theological message.
